Legal Specialist
Noreen Omondi is a qualified lawyer specializing in Human Rights. She has valuable experience in project management, Protection programming, research, monitoring and evaluation, documentation and youth involvement in governance and leadership and in particular, transformational justice. This experience includes project and budget conceptualization and design; resource mobilization; project planning and implementation; budget control and accounting of resources; monitoring, activities, outputs and outcomes and evaluating performance of activities and interventions against the targeted results of the project as set out in the log frame to ensure effective implementation of the project and success of the program; periodic report writing and feedback provision to stakeholders and closing of projects.
This experience was gained while handling projects funded by DFID, OFDA, ECHO, SIDA, SV, UNHCR, UNICEF, OSIEA, ALLAVIDA, USAID, WOMANKIND in the FLOW FUND
(Funding Leadership of Women) project, Comic Relief, Development Alternatives Incorporated (DAI) under a grant by DFID and Ford Foundation during my tenure at Center for Rights Education and Awareness (CREAW), Africa Humanitarian Action
(AHA), Danish Refugee Council (DRC), International Rescue Committee (IRC), WFP and ALIGHT. She is an ambitious, hardworking, resourceful, self-driven, result oriented person who always seeks to find innovative solutions to the problems currently facing the society.
